RandomGen has no user accounts, no sign-up forms, and no payment processing. The lists, names, options, and numbers you enter into a generator are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers. Share URLs contain your settings because you chose to copy them; we don't log them.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and understand which tools get used. It records the page you visited, a device/browser profile, approximate region, and referring site, and it sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to tell returning visits apart. Google states that GA4 does not log or store IP addresses. You can block this with any standard content blocker, and the site works identically without it.

Server logs. Like any website, the hosting infrastructure may keep routine request logs (URL, timestamp, user agent, IP address) for a limited period for security and debugging.

Browser storage. Tools save your recent results and settings in your browser's localStorage so they survive a refresh. That data stays on your device; clearing site data in your browser removes it. Apart from the analytics cookies above, the site sets no cookies of its own and no advertising cookies.

Pages load the Fraunces typeface from Google Fonts and the analytics script from Google; both requests are visible to Google under its own privacy policy. Some tool pages link out to reference sites (for example random.org or Scryfall); those sites have their own policies. Embedded generators on other people's sites are subject to those sites' policies for anything outside the iframe.

The site is safe for classrooms and collects nothing from anyone, children included. If this policy changes, the date below is updated. Questions: [email protected].
